My
social circle is divided into 3 levels, micro, meso and macro. Concerning the
micro level, it focuses on the interactions with each individual. I have what I call my best friends and family (mum, dad, sister and brother) i keep very close to my heart. They stand in this position in my life because of what i'd call the strong bond of seeing them almost everyday and sharing so much memories in my life.
My meso level expands as i have worked in 3 different workplaces, Wendy's Ice Cream, The Great Bagel Cafe and where i currently work Crust Pizza. This broadens my social circle and allows me to interact with people that i normally wouldn't. It also creates a family dynamic with your work peers and could interrelate into your micro level. I also play in a sporting team, oztag and soccer. For Oztag the group is formed by an individual and all the friends that wish to play join. In most scenarios you don't normally know each and everyone on your team and as the season goes on the bond gets stronger. Again through the connection of that one individual, the friendship group broadens and depending on the tightness of the relationship, it could also interrelate with your micro level. Having attended/attending 2 high schools, expands my social circles. Oakhill college is in the 'hills district' therefore my familiarity of certain people profounds. Northmead was located in the Western Sydney, my friendship groups grows outside the area i live in.

Macro level focuses on the impersonal interactions, for example the media, law and government. At this stage in my life i am still 16 and cannot vote, however when i turn 18 i will legal to vote. Also the fact that i am a human being on this earth gives me the right to speak up and bring some sort of influence in other people's view on the law and government. The media and celebrities share some impact in my social and personal identity. They influence the way i dress, talk and interact with individuals. Although they don't have a physical relationship with me in my life, they have a mental influence in my life. |
